This is according to Panasonic in a press release, reports Bloomberg News, by reason of the fact that companies now have completed the cooperation agreement, which was announced in October.
the Plant should reach a capacity of 1 gigawatt in the year 2019.
the Panasonic will invest more than 30 billion yen in the plant and Tesla have agreed on a long-term purchasing agreement with Panasonic regarding the solar cells produced at the plant.
Tesla reiterates that the plant will create over 1,400 jobs in Buffalo, including more than 500 jobs in the production.
