Sales of apparel fell 1.9 per cent during the period 1-21 december, compared with the same period of the previous year. Skoförsäljningen decreased 7.6 per cent.

“I think the big sales during Black Friday-the weekend has taken a part of the year. November got a real boost of Black Friday as we now see the results of. He notes that more försäljningsdagar during the day, at least on the paper may represent an opportunity to increase trade. However, there may be fewer take time off during the day.
“So in essence, I believe that these figures stand a month out and then we end up year on year at just over zero percent sales growth. Given the price increases during the year, it means a reduction in the volume of the fashion industry”, says Mikael Sandström.
