the Market has in the past in 2016, about whether Deutsche Bank would manage to pay on more junior bonds in the event of bötessumman related to u.s. mortgage bonds sold before the financial crisis would be too high.

The German major banks have received no help by the country’s government in the negotiations with the us department of justice (DOJ). Deutsche does not see that bötessumman about 7.2 billion dollars to have any impact on the ratings. The first förhandlingsbudet from the DOJ earlier in the year was 14 billion dollars.

At the end of september, wrote KBW, in an analysis that Deutsche Bank would make a settlement with the us department of justice (DOJ) of up to 9.4 billion dollars. It but to threaten the bank’s capital levels relative to regulatory requirements, or that it would entail restrictions on the possibility of payments on the so-called coco-bonds.
