Bilsäkerhetsjätten Autoliv reported a pre-tax profit of 228 million u.s. dollars, the equivalent of about two billion kronor for the fourth quarter of 2016. It can be compared with a profit of 265 million dollars in the corresponding period in 2015.
Analysts had on average expected a profit of 225 million dollars, according to the Reuters summary. The organic sales increase was lower than analysts had hoped for. Its shares slumped more than 4.5 per cent after the report was released.
Sales at eur 2 604 million dollars, compared to 2 520 million u.s. dollars, a year earlier.
