KF continues its cleanup. Now sold the holding in Akademibokhandeln to Accent Equity.

Bookstore operates 120 stores.

Academy and Bokus had sales of slightly more than SEK 1.7 billion in 2014. Both sales channels during the year increased its shareholding in the Swedish book market.

The capital released through the sale of Akademibokhandeln / Bokus be reinvested in Coop Sweden AB.

Following the merger between Akademibokhandeln and Bokia 2013, the company received 70 owners. The two largest, after the MP, was foundation publishing house Natur & amp; Culture and Killbergs Bookstore. These partners will continue as shareholders in the company and to stand for maintaining the continuity of the ownership group.

The other partners have offered to sell their shares in the company. Until today the owner of more than 90 percent of the shares accepted Accent offer.

The change in ownership does not give the mean any changes for employees or franchisees. Akademibokhandeln management will be offered to invest in the company.
