2000 must go on Statoil

Approximately 1500 permanent employees and 500 from the hired staff of the Norwegian oil company Statoil will be forced to leave the company.
The Norwegian Dagens Industry as reveals the massive cuts that are said to be the result of consultation between company management and elected officials during Thursday evening.
The cuts will be implemented in the course of next year. Statolledningen has not commented on the information.
