Statoil is expected to draw down further – Dagens Industri

 Statoil is on track to reduce by a further 2,000 jobs worldwide. There is a direct effect of the cuts imposed as a result of the falling oil prices. The new measure is reported to be the largest cut company implemented so far, writes Dagens Næringsliv on Friday.
 

According to DN must Statoil has negotiated with the union and cut affects 1,500 employees plus 500 leased personer.Teknisk staff are expected to be those go on the biggest bang. Around 12,000 engineers are still working within the company, but that figure is expected to shrink over the next year.
