How much are Handelsbanken, Industrivärden – Swedish Dagbladet

today announced that Handelsbanken that they sold all of its 29.4 million A shares in Industrivärden to Swedish and international institutional investors. It sold the holding represents 6.8 percent of the capital and 10.3 percent of the vote.

According to a press release.

price was 153: 25 SEK per share resulting in a capital gain of Handelsbanken of SEK 750 million.

the sale will have a positive impact on Handelsbanken’s earnings for the third quarter of 2016, according to the bank.

There will also to reduce the bank’s risk exposure amounts and have a positive effect on the core Tier I capital ratio by about 0.6 percentage points.

the sale does not mean a contribution in Handelsbanken’s equity. This is because the shares classified as AFS asset and carried at market value in the bank’s accounting.
