The former foreign minister has been enlisted as an adviser to the board of the Russian-owned energy company Letter One.
The Russian tycoon Mikhail Fridman said on Thursday that Bildt will take part in the company’s efforts to develop oil and gas deals, reports said.
The former Swedish foreign minister is one of several high-profile recruits of the company. Recently, they went out to the former British Trade Minister Mervyn Davies will become vice chairman of the Letter One’s board, said the news agency.
Fridman bought earlier this year, the DEA, the German energy group RWE’s oil and gas compartment, for EUR 5.1 billion.
