Threats to safety mapped – Västerbotten Courier

According to LO reports on safety threatened, harassed or become more discouraged. In order to map the extent of the problems have now all upwards of 70,000 safety in LO received a questionnaire to answer, and the results will be reported on October 26, writes Today’s work.

The survey has passed through the LO’s all affiliates . DPOs should, among other things asked if they hampered in their mission, if the employer opposes them and if they feel they get enough support from their union.

Earlier studies have shown that the problems are of different sizes for different types of workplaces. Most vulnerable is considered to be regional safety, handling workplaces with 5-10 employees who lack their own safety.

It attracted much attention when the DPO on the construction of the shopping center Mall of Scandinavia in Solna had to quit after being alerted about dangerous work environment.
