Norwegian purchase of Granngården – Västerbotten Courier

Norwegian Felleskjøpet Agri SA buys Granngården chain for 410 million crowns. Seller is riskkapitalbolage EQT, which in 2008 bought the neighboring farm from the agricultural cooperative Lantmännen writes Felleskjøpet in a press release.

Felleskjøpet is a leading Norwegian supplier to the agricultural sector and the retail chain with a focus on the garden, house, pets, recreation and agriculture. The company has 2500 employees and had 2015 sales of 13.4 billion Norwegian crowns.

The neighboring farm, with its 108 stores a leading player in the Swedish market in gardening, pets, horses, farming and recreation.
