The government promises more jobs for young people – Aftonbladet

Today, the government presented yet another of his budget promises – how you want to reduce unemployment among young people.

Approximately 150,000 young people between 15 and 24 are now unemployed. Approximately 88,000 of them are young people who passed secondary school age.

Unemployment among young people increased during the economic crisis of 2008, but has recovered worse than the economy at large, said Ylva Johansson.

The education element is about to enter into contracts with young people aged 20-24 who are unemployed and do not have complete high school grades. The idea is for them to begin or resume their studies to obtain the skills needed to get a job.

It should be possible to study full-time but also to combine study with work or training.

Enters into force in August

The focus on training contracts, which will come into force on August 1 this year, costing about 380 million in 2015. For the next year about 800 million per year.

The second leg of the government’s investment is about to learn a trade in a workplace by a trainee job. This too shall come into force at the earliest in August this year.

Trainee Jobs are a combination of jobs at halftime and practical training at halftime.

The jobs must be available in the welfare sector, for example in care or school and where wage subsidy for employers to be 85 percent, and in various forms of deficiency occupations with a wage subsidy of 50 percent.
