The leading Asian stock markets rose on Thursday, in the wake of gains on US stock exchanges.
Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Nikkei 225 index went up by 0.1 percent and the broader Topixindex rose by 0.7 per cent, partly supported by a surge in oil-related shares.
