A police dragged a hundred meters after a car at an intervention in Södertälje. That was when a suspected drunk driver in his 40s was asked to blow into the alcohol meter that the driver drove off with the police halfway left inside the car.
It could have gone really bad, but he escaped without any major damage, says Martin Bergholm, station officer at Södertälje police.
The police should have been dragged by a hundred yards before he came off.
He managed to get up and into his own car where his colleague was. They followed and then managed to ram down the man’s car in the ditch
The incident, which occurred in the district Pershagen, classified as attempted homicide and aggravated drunken driving.
