Sweden: 2,613 fewer unemployed week 17 – Employment Service

(SIX) The number of registered unemployed in Sweden fell by 2,613 people to 185,052 persons during week 17. In a comparison with corresponding week a year ago, the number of registered unemployed decreased by 11,412 people (-12,171 last week), as a update from the Employment Service. Job seekers in activity support programs amounted to 182,952 people, which was 570 fewer than a week earlier. Compared with A year ago, the number decreased by 526 people (+22 last week). The number of people who found work during the week amounted to 10,552, compared with 12,714 the week before. The number of people registered as jobseekers amounted to 6476, compared with 6988 weeks before. 22,773 new vacancies were reported, compared with 23,632 the week before.
