The VBG:s MCC-purchase doubles the turnover and profit – Svenska Dagbladet

” the Acquisition of MCC is a strategically very important deal that means a new chapter in the VBG Group’s history. MCC is a well-managed company that meets all the criteria of our acquisition strategy and the company is active in segments where there are good growth opportunities in future, ” says the VBG’s president and ceo Anders Birgersson, in a comment in a press release.

MCC, which is developing, manufactures and sells complete air conditioning systems for commercial vehicles, is the industry leader in north America and Europe.

the Company had a turnover of 1 264 million in 2015 and operating profit, ebita, amounted to sek 152 million.

VBG:s sales pro-forma 2015 increases through the acquisition of 1 315 million sek 2 579 million, and operating income, at the ebita-level, increasing pro forma 2015 from 141 million to 293 million.

VBG believes that the main growth potential is in the segment of buses, which is MCC’s largest market segment.

MCC will to form a new division within the VBG Group. The acquisition is expected to be completed in november 2016, according VBG.
