If progress continues at this rate is estimated Swedish listed companies’ managements to be equal in 2040th

– As the pace of development accelerates, we get equal lines earlier than predicted. Last year I said that we would get equal lines in 2063, but that we can now move forward, says Amanda Lundeteg, president of the Foundation Allbright.

Highlights

The bright spots in the report include more companies are climbing than valleys on the list and that 32 companies now have equal management, an increase of five companies.

the real estate industry is the sector that is most successful in recruiting women leaders, but with 27 percent share equal management the financial industry, the industry that has taken the biggest step forward.

Overall, however, it is not so bright. Eight companies have no women in both the board and the management and of the 282 listed companies, nine out of ten are still male-dominated.

– We have 77 companies that do not have a single woman in the management team and it is alarming not a single one of the nynoterade companies have a woman as CEO, says Amanda Lundeteg.
