Assa Abloy selling business to Japanese Alpha Corporation – evertiq.se

ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement with Japan Alpha Corporation on the sale of its car locks (Car Locks).

The activities will complement Alpha Corporation’s current operations within the car locks and generate synergies which currently is limited within Assa Abloy.

car-lock manufacturing, headquartered in Tyniste, Czech Republic, has 450 employees and operations in Mexico, Germany, Switzerland and China. Sales for 2015 amounted to SEK 550 million (EUR 60 million).

Alpha Corporation is huvudkontorr in Yokohama, Japan, and more than 4’250 employees. The acquisition expands the Company’s global operations to 19 locations in a total of 11 countries.
