Börje Ekholm in Alibaba’s board of directors – Swedish Dagbladet

The Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba pulls out a chair of the board of Swedish Börje Ekholm – today, among other things, also chairman of the Nasdaq OMX and Board member in Ericsson.

Börje Ekholm will be one of the ten members of the Company as of June 1st. He was previously CEO of Investor, a service where he recently was replaced by Johan Forsell, when he instead will also become the head of Investor’s investment Patricia Industries.

The Investor has been a shareholder in Alibaba via Investor Growth Capital, Börje Ekholm was head of 1997-2005, reports directly.

Alibaba reported today its quarterly results came in at 3:00 yuan per share. Analysts’ expectations were at 2:59 yuan per share, according to Bloomberg News.

Immediately after the report stage Alibaba approximately 7 percent of the US förhandeln.

Alibaba listed on the New York Stock Exchange in september 2014.
