Flights negotiations may have failed – Helsingborgs Dagblad

Neither the Norwegian or union Parat have wanted to comment on the negotiations, but only confirmed their progress. As they sat in close 24 hours came conflicting information that negotiations would have failed.

This was denied quickly by Parathyroid who says to NRK that it is waiting for feedback from the company.

Norwegian announced at lunchtime that hundreds more people will be laid off if the strike continues and emphasizes that it will take several days to get under way traffic.

– Many flights are where they should be. It’s a big puzzle to be added for us to be up and flying again, says head of information Lasse Sandberg Aker-Nielsen NRK.

Almost all domestic flights in Sweden and Norway, as well as a number in Denmark, has been suspended since last Wednesday and around 130,000 passengers have been affected by the strike.

The chairman of the Swedish Pilots Martin Lindgren says that the Swedish pilots continue to give their support to the union.

– But they are of course very disoriented and off when it comes mixed messages from the company and the union, says he seeks, among other things, data on employment guarantee which the company has issued.

– If you look a little closer at what it really stands so it is not about any warranty. I call it a smokescreen, it looks good to give such information to the media, but if you look at the fine print, it’s no guarantee of anything, he said.

Swedish Pilots will not change their tactics arguing that the transfer of the Swedish pilots to a national subsidiary is not valid.

– We have informed Norwegian that it considers that the transition has not complied with applicable laws and regulations and we therefore believe that our members are employed by NAN (Norwegian’s Norwegian subsidiary) along with all the other pilots in Scandinavia, he said.
