Tobacco Sixth takes the match – Business World

The Competition Authority announced on Wednesday that it is true tobacco manufacturer Swedish Match for unfair competition by having stashed competitors’ products in snuskylarna.

The Swedish Match will contest the lawsuit vigorously, writes Now the company in a press release.

The Competition Authority’s view is that Swedish Match by Tag system has abused a dominant position in the Swedish snus market and thus violated competition law.

Swedish Match’s view is that label system did not affect other vendors’ sales, that it is consistent with market standards and the Competition Authority to base their påfelaktiga assumptions about the purpose of the label system, says the tobacco company’s press release.
