LO’s board of directors agreed to move forward with common requirements in preparation for the wage negotiations in 2017, with a låglönesatsning. It emerged when the LO’s assembly of representatives began their meeting on Wednesday. The representative assembly then voted yes to this.
Låglönesatsningen means that those who serve in the 24,000 crowns per month will get their salary increase in dollars, while those who earn above the break point in percent.
Before the round of negotiations in 2016 was not able LO reach a common coordination of the requirements. The industry landed then in a one-year agreement that gave the 2.2 per cent wage increase, which is also in the big move was “the mark” for other wage agreements.
An exception was Local, as in a three-year agreement made a special bet on the nursing assistants.
LO’s goal is halve the pay gap between men and women to 2028.
