Volvo Cars sold the better – except in Sweden – Sydsvenskan

Volvo’s sales increased in all major markets last year, compared with the previous year. Were sold worldwide 534 332 cars, which was an increase of 6.2 per cent compared with the 2015.

the increase in Sales in China, 11.5 percent, according to Volvo, because there has launched two new models. Best-selling models in the last year was local the XC60 and the S60L.

last Year was the third year in a row that the automaker’s exhibit a record sales.

In Western europe, sales increased, however, more modest, plus 4.1%, to more than 206 000 sold vehicles. The key countries here are Germany, the Uk, France and Italy.

In Sweden decreased by as much as the company’s sales during the previous year by 1.3 per cent compared with the previous year. According to Volvo Cars, it is about a time in which older models are being phased out and replaced by new.

In China sold more than 90 000 cars, plus 11.5 per cent.

In Sweden, it was worse. This backed the Volvo in the year to just over 1 per cent to 71 200 cars sold.

IN the united states sold nearly 83 000 cars, especially the XC90 and the XC60. The sales increase was double-digit, plus 18.1%.

a Particularly successful model is the Volvo XC90 large premium SUV, whose sales increased by 125 per cent in the year compared with 2015.
