Trump perhaps too much even for Putin – newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

Pon Wednesday congratulated Russian president Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump to victory. Putin hopes for a better cooperation between the two countries in the future. But one begets the other, since Trump can be erratic even for Putin.

According to the Kremlin, hope Putin is able to "work together with the united states when it comes to international issues, and engage in a dialogue based on equality and mutual respect between Washington and Moscow, which serves both countries ‘ interests". He also expressed a hope to improve relations between the countries.

Something that engages many politicians and experts is the question of how the relations between Trump and Putin will be developed in the future. The Russian government may understand that Trump is unpredictable, but the hope that the relations will be thawed so that Russia can play a greater role in the world.

Worth to keep in mind is that Trump and Putin are not friends, therefore you know actually not really sure how it will go.

But one breed is not necessarily the other.

To the Russian media before the election, whipped up the atmosphere to the benefit of outsidern Donald Trump is an understatement. It has been everyday. According to a poll made by the Levada Center, before the election, said almost 38 per cent that Trump would be better for Russia, only nine percent of respondents said Hillary Clinton. She has some aroused disgust, according to the people I have spoken with.

With that said, people in Russia are not necessarily thought too much about what happens if Trump becomes president. Few have explicitly said that they like him, because most people do not know what to expect.

Alexei Venediktov, editor-in-chief of the radio station Moskvaekot angry sökljuset against just this in the morgonsändningen:

"There are several different the united states, and several different Russia. Don’t expect a miracle, they are not. But the Russian government has understood that Trump is unpredictable, even for Russia?"

Worth thinking about is that Trump and Putin are not friends, therefore you know actually not really sure how it will go. Trump has certainly criticized the Obama administration for not negotiating with Putin, but in Trumps public speaking or platform does not have any relations with Moscow assigned a special role.

the Chairman of the Russian state duma international affärsutskott, Leonid Slutskij, expressed in all cases prior to the election of a hope that Donald Trump will cooperate with Russia in a more constructive manner.

The Russian’s head and the leader of the nationalkonservativa party I had, Vladimir Zhirinovskij, was just like many other leaders of the extreme right wing in the world quick to welcome the victory, even before the election results became clear.

” of course We see with satisfaction that the better candidate of the two presented to the american voters won,” he said according to the Interfax news agency.

It is worth repeating – the Trump can in several contexts be a bit too erratic, even for Putin.

He also hopes to Trump’s victory means that the american ambassador in Moscow, John Tefft, less. He said: “We hope that this ambassador is leaving Russia… he hates Russia.”

Trump’s victory comes at a crucial time for Russia. The country has started a massive military build-up in the last few years. Since the annexation of Crimea, the former Ukrainian territory, Moscow’s policy has led to concerns over increased sharply in Europe.

In Ukraine, whose relationship to Russia is broken completely by the last years of the war in the eastern parts of the country, however, is the pessimism of the great.

– Not a good sign for Ukraine. It may be that the perception of Russia is even more incomplete, ” says Oksana Syroid, vicetalman in the Ukrainian parliament, radan, to Interfax.

The Ukrainian member of parliament, Democratic alliance, blogger Mustafa Nayyem, wrote the following on his Facebook page on Wednesday:

” Our country survived Viktor Yanukovych and will survive Donald Trump. If needed, we can share the experience.

Militäralliansen Nato have of Trump previously called “outdated”. Because Russia claims to be a world power, can Trump as an ally to be invaluable on the basis of this context. But – it is worth repeating – the Trump can in several contexts be a bit too erratic, even for Putin.
