Saudi arabia: We need to produce less oil – Industry Today

Saudi arabia’s oil minister says there is “absolutely necessary” to the OPEC countries to make a reality of the proposal to reduce oil production in order to strengthen the price of oil, reports the media in Algeria on Sunday.

This message brought oil minister Khaled al-Faleh, until when he met his algerian counterpart on Saturday, and urged other participants to abide by the surprising agreement at the OPEC meeting in Algiers in september.

“At this period of unstable oil prices, it is absolutely necessary to reach an agreement on how the members of OPEC to implement the historic decision from the Algae,” said al-Faleh, according to the algerian news agency APS.

During the OPEC meeting in september was an agreement presented to reduce the cartel’s oil production by 750 000 barrels per day, according to Bloomberg.

Septembermötets historic agreement about the decline in production must be made at the OPEC meeting on november 30 in Vienna to be executed.
