Yahoo built 2015 custom software to search through all the user’s incoming e-mail, on a secret mission by us intelligence service.
This according to sources within the company told Reuters. It is moving if either the NSA or the FBI, but it is as yet unclear exactly what they have been looking for. According to two former employees of Yahoo, resigned in march, the security Alex Stamos in June 2015 as a reaction to ceo Marissa mayer’s decision to respond to the intelligence request. Stamos holds now the same post on Facebook.
