Bert Karlsson about their asylboenden: “I close the no” – Radio Sweden

the News that Bert Karlsson closes 40 of the 44 asylboenden he runs through his company Jokarjo AB got the big spread in the weekend. Bert Karlsson also said that the closures means that he says up to 500 people.

In fact, it was mainly about criticism of the Swedish immigration policy – an area in which he has large interests in the then Jokarjo is estimated at 1 billion in the year – and the conditions for the companies who run asylboenden.

the News came just a few days after it became known that the Swedish migration board shall reduce the number of places for asylum seekers. Bert Karlsson will not actively close a single asylboende:

I close the no, the Swedish migration board closes the facilities. What I wanted to do is talk about it here are the consequences, so that they know it.

When it comes to the notice and the layoff is Jokarjo AB in the same situation as in the past with short notice on the contract on the asylboenden that the company has.

He does not believe that the three asylboenden as Jokarjo driver in Kalmar county closed within the nearest time. None of them was on the Migration list of places that do not get contract extension. However, Bert Karlsson has not been made clear if there will be any extension of the contracts when they expire on 20 november. He thinks that the foresight from the Swedish migration board is bad.

You understand well how we live. Thus, we have not received notice than if we get the extension yet. But it is clear that we may, at the most.

in Total there live about 400 asylum seekers and are more than 20 employees on Jokarjos three plants in Kalmar county.
