Steel Rally on the Stockholm Stock Exchange – Västerbotten Courier

Economy. A dramatic exchange week ended sharply up in Stockholm with the steel company SSAB in tip. Even the leading European stock markets rose.

Stockholm Stock Exchange broad OMXS index climbed 1.3 percent to 477.1. Thus, a large part of the stock market collapse from Monday withdrawn.

On OMXS30 list of the most traded shares were the loss-making steel maker SSAB, which was the strongest. Price rose 13.1 percent full. SSAB recently made a rights issue that raised SEK five billion kronor.

For the winners among the heavyweights heard even Skanska, which lifted 2.5 percent, Fingerprint Cards, up 2.7 percent, and Kinnevik of plus 1.9 percent.

the only shares among OMXS30 companies that went against the tide was Finnish telecommunications company Nokia, which fell 0.8 percent and Handelsbanken, which fell 0.4 percent.

among the smaller companies raged communication company Intellecta 14.5 percent after a profit warning.

FTSE index rose 1.2 percent, the Paris Stock Exchange’s CAC index lifted 0.9 percent and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange’s DAX index gained 1.0 percent.
