Domestic An employee of the Social Insurance Agency have disclosed confidential information. Hundreds of clients’ personal information was leaked to an assistance company, writes Dagens Nyheter.

– This is very, very serious, says Therese Karlberg, business area manager for disability on the Social Insurance Agency, told DN.

An external tip came in in December that someone leaked information from the authority. The suspected person was no longer employed, then the substitution expires in August. The data should have been used to try to lure users to an assistance company.

It was when the vicar was told that there was no continued employment at the Social Insurance Agency and the hen was offered a job at an assistance company to which the data began to leak.

All the users, people who receive personal assistance from 42 companies and municipalities should have been mapped and social security number and name should have been handed over.

the assistance company has filed a police report company representatives suspect abetting misconduct, hacking and breaches of secrecy. They have also been notified to the Agency for Health Care (IVO) to investigate whether the business license shall be canceled, writes DN.
