Fast track for newly arrived teacher can increase the load – Swedish Dagbladet

Fast track means to various training and practice are read in parallel. He points out that teachers from Syria generally high international standards of proficiency in mathematics, while new arrivals knowledge of such Swedish social studies is limited.

According to the Minister for higher education and research Helene Hellmark Knutsson will fast track does not mean that the requirements of the newly arrived teachers to receive teacher certification is lower than the others.

In April, begins the first new arrivals learn the fast track at Stockholm University. This year there will be 420 seats available and the next 720. Newcomers wishing to participate must have a degree as a teacher or preschool teacher.
