Stefan Löfven: Let schools dispose mobiles – Swedish Radio

Prime Minister Stephen Löfven want the schools to receive dispose of mobiles in classrooms as a preventive measure, not the teaching will be disrupted. He refers to a study showing that cell phones in the classroom
are bad for the students.

– In the classes where you do not have mobiles more students learn more. In addition, students perform worse comes even worse in classes where there are mobiles with them. They will be better in classes where it is peaceful and quiet, says Stefan Löfven

Today, schools – under the Education Act – just right to dispose of cell phones on them disrupt order. Education Minister Gustav Fridolin has previously spoken of clearer rules regarding mobile phones in the classrooms.
