Sweden: Business Bankruptcies -8% in April to an annual rate – UC (Continued)

 (Supplemented news)       (SIX) The number of corporate bankruptcies in Sweden fell by 8 per cent  April compared to the same month the year before, according to  Monthly statistics from the business and credit information company UC.       The number of bankruptcies during the month amounted to 530 pieces.       Bankruptcies in Swedish business continues to decline at a rapid  pace, according to UC. Bankruptcies in the period from January to April is  at its lowest level since in 2008.       "It is very gratifying that the number of bankruptcies is now on  its lowest level since 2008. The trend of declining business failures are a  proof that the Swedish economy is about to recover.  Although the recovery is fragile as it seems boosting business  economic status so that more and more successful survive, "says  Fredrik Polland at UC.       So far this year a total of 2,018 companies went bankrupt, which is a  down 10 percent compared with the  same period in 2014.       The largest decreases occurred in Wholesale, Construction  and Real estate activities.
