Andersson: Will have to prioritize – Expressen

At a quarter past three in the afternoon it was time for the Minister of Finance Magdalena Andersson (S) to hold the May 1 speech at Norra Bantorget in Stockholm.

– It is time to build a Sweden that holds together, says the Minister of Finance.

A large crowd of people, holding placards and skanderandes slogans, gathered in Humlegården in Stockholm for the Social Democrats in Stockholm May 1 train. An orchestra then took the lead, closely followed by Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson and the surging throng.

Slogans such as “No racists in our streets” and “international solidarity – working class unity” was shouted through megaphones.

The train, with an estimated few thousand people, took the then Railway Square, where Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson entered the stage and took the microphone from the City of Stockholm, Karin Wanngård.

– The table that we came to was far from ducat . We will have to prioritize, says Magdalena Andersson and saw the previous government’s tax cuts.
