Turns off after alleged leaks – Aftonbladet

The turbulence within the Sweden Democrats continues.

Now, two officials within the party, one of which is the operational manager Martin Karlsson, suspended with immediate effect.

– The reason is that confidence is lacking and this is partly a result of the recent leaks to the media, said press secretary Henry Wing (SD).

Throughout last week raged a battle between the party leadership for the Sweden Democrats and its youth. In total, more than 20 party members is now in danger of being excluded, among them SDU peaks Gustav Kasselstrand and William Hahne, who is accused of a series of offenses, which they denied.

This weekend, it was clear what the SDU’s next step in the battle becomes, it has allocated 100 000 to a crisis campaign for those members who risk expulsion. Several of them are accused of having expressed himself anti-Semitic and for dealings with right-wing organization Nordic youth.

Two officials turned off

Yesterday revealed the Daily News that although there is great turbulence in SD the Parliamentary Secretariat. The party’s safety and training manager Bengt Malmberg has resigned in protest against the group leader Mattias Karlsson and party secretary Richard Jomshofs way to control the party organization.

“Talk about being nerpissad of Richard Jomshof and other Executive Committee. Worse, it can not be and so it was an easy decision to resign immediately, “he wrote in an email to employees according to DN.

Now Aftonbladet reveal that the chaos continues. Today, the two officials shut down from office with immediate effect. One of the operational manager Martin Karlsson, the party’s highest official.

The cause of the party leadership’s hold is that they should have leaked information to the media during the ongoing battle in the party.

– I can confirm that two officials have been released from work until further notice. The reason is that confidence is lacking and this is partly a result of the recent leaks to the media. In the meantime, we look at this, people no longer have access to the workplace, says SD’s press officer Henrik Vinge.

When Aftonbladet reaches Martin Karlsson wish he did not say anything.

– I myself have been told this right. In our communications plan, I can not speak to media and must ask you to contact our press department, he said.

According to the party leadership should the leaks to the press be the reason he loses the job. But sources familiar with the party says that Martin Karlsson of the individuals who have criticized the acting party leader Mattias Karlsson’s way of managing positions within the party.

DN have previously reported on how Mattias Karlsson’s former wife Gabriella Hedarv got the job at the party organ SD courier. According to information provided to Aftonbladet, there have been more suitable candidates, but the job still went to her.

– While current press secretary Henry Wing got the job as press officer before the recruitment process was over. That decision was taken by the SD’s executive committee, which really should not decide who should get the jobs.
