New Head of Fortum – Västerbotten Courier

The 51-year-old civil engineer Pekka Lundmark takes over as CEO of the Finnish power company Fortum, according to a press release from Fortum. He will start in September.

Lundmark has for ten years been the President and CEO of the Finnish Konecranes and was earlier in his career including working in telecom manufacturer Nokia.

“Fortum exceptionally strong balance sheet provides good conditions for future investments in growth, clean energy and development of new services, “writes Lundmark in a statement.
