Two young men were killed in a serious road accident on Highway 40 Jönköping in the night.
Police believe the car drove off the highway and voltat down a slope.
At 23:30 o’clock, police received the alarm about a serious traffic accident on the outskirts of Jönköping. A car with two men in their 20s in had driven off the road 40 and plunged several meters down to an underlying local road.
– There is a viaduct over highway 40 where there is a minor road and we believe that car for unknown reasons has driven through the railing and then ended up on the minor road, then rolled down the slope and turned in, says Bo Kellerth, deputy spokesman at police in California.
The two men, both born in the 90s, which was traveling in the car was driven by ambulance to Ryhov hospital. Later came the news that both killed in a single incident. Last night was informed families of the victims of the police.
The alarm about the accident came from a passing motorist who saw the car lying upside down beneath the slope.
– The motorist called SOS. We think not had time to go very long time after the accident before the alarm came, said Bo Kellerth.
