Norwegian pilots get another chance to negotiate – Expressen

Now, Norwegian’s leadership had enough.

On Thursday gave its striking pilots “a final opportunity” to present himself at the negotiating table – the latest at the 15th

Pilot union Parat has countered with the refusal to negotiate with a “gun to the head”.

During a week is Norwegian’s pilot strike led to a flight chaos in Scandinavia that has touched around 100 000 passengers.

Thursday announced the group management that they had had enough.

In a press writes that she has provided to the subsidiary NAN (Norwegian Air Norway) who are pilots employers free rein to resolve the situation.

It also writes that the pilot unions NPU and Parathyroid had a “final opportunity” to present himself at the negotiating table to find a solution to the strike, which pilots would get a proper chance to influence their workplace in the negotiations.

The Group set a deadline that expired at 15 o’clock on Thursday.

But no negotiations ever took place.

Norwegian TV2 explained paired Chairman Hans Erik Skjäggerud why:

– We do not sit down at 15.00 with a gun to his head. It is fully visible in the press release that without meeting so they threaten to ask the company into bankruptcy, out of the game or god knows what, he said.

During the day, the union released a press release explaining that the two the parties were still far apart on fundamental issues during the overnight negotiations.
