Exhausted battery? It should Ikea solve – Business Week

Lamps charges your phone wirelessly, it can soon buy at Ikea.

It was during Sunday’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that Ikea announced that they are releasing a new line of furniture that will be able to charge your phone – Wireless . The series includes both tables, desks and lamps with wireless charging surfaces. The actual piece of furniture requires self connected to a power outlet. The series will first be released on April 15th in Europe and North America, and later rolled out worldwide. This reports the Wall Street Journal.

The irritation for discharged batteries are usually high and more ways to recharge our widgets at is welcome. Ikea also announced that they will start selling wireless charging stations that can be installed in existing furniture for 30 euros each, corresponding to SEK 280.
