Make your voice heard – we need it – the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

Make your voice heard – we need it – the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

Sometimes you hear readers of themselves and think we focus too much on the negative things happening in the business world – record losses, the fiddling Directors, the sjabblande authorities and the lack of women on company boards. It is our duty as one of Sweden’s heaviest economy editors to review grievances in business and society, but of course it is also our mission to highlight good examples – the entrepreneurs who succeed and can serve as inspiration for others.

Last year we took a grip to show all the positive things that happen every day in Swedish companies. Throughout the spring and part of summer, we focused on entrepreneurship. Along with your readers crowned we Ingvar Kamprad, the All-time entrepreneur. Meanwhile awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Business Bragd out for the first time, a price that was prominent jury awarded Ida Backlund, CEO and founder of Rapunzel, and in June we could with the Carnegie appoint Future entrepreneur, an award that was won by the company English Pharma.

The response to the This venture around the Swedish contractors were absolutely huge – thousands and thousands went in and voted, read, emailed, phoned and love bombed the editors. So here we go again, and just like last year, we need readers’ help.

As of today you can suggest who should get SvD Business Bragd 2015. It can be a good Friend, who made a strong effort entrepreneur or someone you read about in the newspaper. Business deed is awarded to a person who has made an outstanding meritorious achievement in the Swedish business community (see article below regarding criteria).

Any suggestion we get into boiled down to one final lineup on 10 nominated candidates, readers will get to vote on. A jury will select the final winner among readers five favorites.

In May we will know who has won the Business feat, but SvD Enterprise’s focus on entrepreneurship continues – with many exciting features – until this fall.
