The largest company beats course record – Business Week

The largest companies, Novo Nordisk, rising to record levels after a recommendation.

The Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk rose on Friday as most 3.4 percent to a record rate 276 Danish kroner in Copenhagen.

A panel of experts recommended on Thursday the Food and Drug Administration FDA approve Novo’s liraglutide preparation for the treatment of patients with chronic obesity.

According to SME Direkt survey analysts expected the annual sales of the preparation, which is expected to be launched under the name Saxenda, on average, amount to over 13.5 billion when the sale ends.

After the price increase, Novo Nordisk’s total market value of nearly 900 billion, according to Ritzau Finance.
