SAS: "We do not know when the site is working again" – Swedish Dagbladet

SAS website went out yesterday afternoon. And the crash lives on – it’s still hard to surf to the site.

mess with the website also means that, for example, you can not book tickets online. The company’s app works on and off, writes customer service on Facebook.

Customers cited information from SAS via Facebook and Twitter.

But at the airport Arlanda, they feared the queues missed this morning.

– It has been a quiet morning, as an ordinary Tuesday. The most intense traffic in the morning has been and it has gone smoothly, says Åsa Öhman, press officer for the LFV.

– SAS feared it would become longer check in queues, but it is possible that people have been out in extra good time.

SAS is currently working on getting up a temporary home page.

– A site where people who want to book SAS tickets may be passed on to other booking sites, says SAS Press Officer Trine Kromann-Mikkelsen.

She will not tell me how much money is expected to be lost in missed ticket through the SAS website.

– But obviously there are customers who connected to your site to book tickets without success, because it may have an impact. But I do not have a sum.

There is no forecast of when the malfunction is expected to be remedied.

– Unfortunately, we do not know when the site will function again. Last night we were close to a solution, but there arose a new error.

The accident is not due to any external hacker attack, according to SAS.

– The error arose from our supplier when they would establish a new feature on the site yesterday, said Kromann-Mikkelsen.
