Lynch still hoping for Apple – Swedish Dagbladet

Authorities in drug case in Brooklyn, New York, wanted to have access to the contents of the current mobile phone in October, months before a California judge ruled that Apple needs to help the FBI in the infected San Bernardino case, reports Reuters news agency.

the judge has now established that he does not have the legal right to order Apple to unlock the phone seized stood during a narcotics investigation.

a senior manager at Apple, which does not want to be quoted by name, tells Reuters that the court’s decision could strengthen the company soon in the San Bernardino case because the two judgments referring to the same laws, but have made different interpretations of the law. The Department of Justice, however, “disappointed” and plans to take the issue higher up in the legal system in the coming days, said a spokesperson, according to Reuters.

Meanwhile, US Attorney Loretta Lynch in a television interview with Fox News that she still hope Apple will help the FBI to “hack” the cell phone in the San Bernardino case.

on Tuesday, Apple should and the FBI to participate in a hearing on encrypted technology in Congress.

FBI Director James Comey spoke last week before a congressional committee on the San Bernardino case. Comey said that it is “unlikely to be a director” of precedent in future cases. The ever-changing software for mobile phones will limit how the case might be used, said Comey.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has however said that he is prepared to pursue the case to the Supreme Court if necessary and that the case is likely to set a precedent which in practice means that the FBI and other US authorities receive a backdoor straight into Apple products.

Forecast: Swedish GDP is expected to rise – Swedish Dagbladet

Swedish GDP is estimated to have risen by 0.8 percent in the fourth quarter, compared with the previous quarter. Compared with the same quarter in 2014, GDP is expected to have risen by 3.7 percent.

According to the SME Direkt survey of eleven analysts. Forecast range in the survey ranging between 0.6 and 1.4 percent on a quarterly basis.

The Riksbank’s forecast in February, based on seasonally adjusted data, suggested that GDP would have risen 3.6 percent in the fourth quarter compared with fourth quarter of 2014.

GDP for the third quarter rose 0.8 percent compared with the previous quarter, and 3.9 percent compared with the same quarter the year before. The consensus forecast from SME Direkt then pointed toward +0.4 percent and +3.4 percent.

Consumption and investment contributed most to the rise third quarter, while inventories and foreign trade went down.

Swedbank sees GDP growth of 3.5 percent in annualized terms. They note that since the end of 2014 has seen a strong Swedish economy, where especially the domestic economy contributed while net exports were neutral. Exports have recovered, but the strong domestic recovery of investment and consumption while driving up imports.

The activity lasts fourth quarter, albeit at a somewhat slower pace. The strength of household consumption was sustained by an expected rise of 1.2 percent in the quarter. Low housing consumption in the wake of low interest rates and warm weather dampens while car sales and retail sales went well, especially for groceries and furniture. Consumption is also supported by the strong leading to higher disposable incomes. In addition, interest rates have been low while energy prices have fallen sharply.

Public consumption is rising as a result primarily of the increased refugee immigration, but at a lower pace than assumed in January.

housing investment continues to rise, driven by more apartment starts. Economic Tendency Survey shows optimism among construction companies.

In other business, the main investment projects in the automotive industry that lift. In addition, a positive service production while efforts are made in local governments.

Statistics on stocks of finished goods shows reductions in the fourth quarter, which will dampen growth while also suggesting continued strong sales activity.

The Swedish exports remain sluggish, although export orders improved. Increased domestic demand will sustain imports, limiting the growth contribution from net exports, writes Swedbank.

Nordea believes that the rate of growth may have slowed slightly to percent in the fourth quarter, but on the other hand, the third quarter have been revised up slightly. The expected annualized GDP growth of 3.7 percent, down from 4.2 percent in the third quarter.

They note that a key reason for that growth accelerated in 2015, exports rose after several years of weakness. The increase in investment has expanded and household consumption continued to expand at a healthy pace.

Two factors stand out in the fourth quarter. First, the hours worked in the state increased by 5 per cent a year, most likely as a consequence of the influx of refugees. Immigration is likely to increase government consumption and GDP in coming quarters.

The other is that the growth rate of fixed investment and imports of services probably slowed down when there was a peak in the research and development (purchased from abroad) in the fourth quarter of 2014.

the bearings for the third quarter and revised up which means that GDP growth in the third quarter was higher than previously assumed. Now expected to partially decline in the fourth quarter, which will dampen growth in the quarterly rate.

The slowdown fourth quarter is therefore a high level and there is no doubt that the economy is booming, which will lead to bottlenecks that hamper growth in 2016.

Nordea’s forecast is largely in line with the Riksbank’s.

“the strong economy begins to affect the Riksbank as it is increasingly evident that the low inflation is not due to any problem in the Swedish economy. the robust growth also means a rise in domestic inflation is more likely, “writes Nordea in a market letter.

Statistics publishes national accounts for the fourth quarter of Monday, 29 February, at 9:30.

Göran Hägglund: “It will be the Trump against Hillary” – Today’s Media

Former KD leader take the step into the PR world: “I hope people will see me as I was before.”

Göran Hägglund , where are you going?

– Haha, good question, where am I going. Gothenburg maybe.

How is it that you start as an advisor on the Narva?

– I have not looked anything but I have received many suggestions from individuals and companies about what I should conduct myself and it’s a very pleasant situation, and interest superannuated politicians is much bigger than I thought.

Why was the Narva?

– Narva was one of the companies contacted me and I have had conversations with some others too but landed on the Narva. I felt it would suit me best just because it’s about the people in line, size of the company and their customer base looks very interesting.

How does it feel to leave politics entirely to jump into the pR industry?

– It feels very good. I think it is so that you have a huge advantage of being on the one hand, if you’re going to the other side. It’s all about us to take sensible and good decisions. It is in everyone’s interest to get it. I can with my experience to contribute and make Narva even better.

What do you hope to achieve as a counselor at Narva?

– I’m a beginner so so long as I have a few things I need to learn. But I also think I have a lot to contribute. When I was a politician, I found myself in the most complex environments that can arise when it comes to making decisions.

Have you received a first assignment?

– no, I have not starting properly yet, more than that I started to talk to people that I started.

Media has previously frontat you as the humorous politician who always had an ace sleeve. Will you like to have the same profile in the PR segment?

– Haha I think I understand what you mean. Life is unbearable without a sense of humor so I hope people will still see me as before. What I find so amazing is that I as a newly 57 year old has got another opportunity to start on a completely new area. I’m incredibly inquisitive and want to learn new things. So I will change to some extent, I think so.

If you were to say some things that are important to consider as a PR consultant, what would it be?

– Openness and clarity and what you want to accomplish. It increases respect. In today’s media climate, it is usually a bad idea to crouch and believe that things blow over. One must soon give his side of events.

You’ve also worked on behalf of the government to find the benefits of raising the retirement age. If you had to decide all by myself, how long would you be willing to work?

– 22 years, but you have to get together for a pension as well. Once in the world was I sold insurance consultant and pension and when I asked people when they wanted to retire so I often motfrågan, when will I later can retire? Most want to continue and feel needed. I would be surprised if I do not continue to work for ten years. If I get to have health left.

If we go to that you were a contestant in the “On Track”. How did it feel to be in the program and to be so close profits?

– I did not think we were so close to win if I’ll be honest. Without Jesper Rönndahl and Elisabeth Höglund was much better than we were. But someone had said before the first match that we would come second then I had not dared believe it. It went much better than we dared hoped for, and it was incredibly fun to be with and to compete against such good teams.

Studied the lot before the programs?

– no, my attitude was that I have not learned now, I will not teach me the short time before the program starts. The probability to learn precisely those things is almost zero. But I can say that my way of looking at life has changed since “On the Trail”. For now, when I see something in the newspaper or on television, I can think of yourself, this can come on the track.

There are many cities you have to discover for all programs, what would you say is your favorite?

– New York, no doubt. It has everything, even the Swedes who had never been there will feel like home. Just to recognize that much of the movies and books. There is also space for a kindness that will surprise. Now when I answered the question, does this mean that I won a trip to New York right now?

If we continue to talk about the United States. Which two election candidates do you think will end up side by side?

– Had you asked me this question not long ago I had answered differently, but I think it will be Donald Trump against Hillary Clinton, who will be there. I said earlier that Trump will never keep, but state by state grazed and he wins and wins.

Last question, now that it’s the weekend, what artist is hot on your Spotify currently ?

– Right now I’m listening me into Eric Church is an American country music artist. He will play at Cirkus in Stockholm on Monday. So then you have to be practiced in the lyrics.

According to the Prime Minister keeps time running out for a joint solution between the countries.

– If the EU does not agree, it is a great risk of chaos, says Löfven.

the statement from the Prime Minister Stefan Löfven (S) came during a visit to the Volvo Cars Torslanda, Gothenburg.

He said that the time for the EU countries to agree on the distribution of refugees begin to be key.
